To help horses that are prone to tying-up, joint stiffness and athritic problems. Also a mild diuretic and urinary antiseptic with carminative (warming) effects. Good for horses that feel the cold and have had prevoius kidney chills. For mares Celery seeds can help stimulate milk flow when lactating (but do not give while she is in foal). Celery seeds are high in Sodium as well as Chlorine and Silica. NOTE: One caution to observe is Celery seed's diuretic action - do not give to pregnant mares or a horse suffering a serious kidney disorder.
